Creative Center Studio is a sanctuary where you can fully relax and express yourself. Located in the Montecito Arts District of Sierra Madre, CA, our space includes a sensory room for working with sound, yoga and movement, which converts into an art gallery, a main studio space for group and individual art making and a cozy consultation area. Our unique studio provides Creative Center clients of all ages the safety and freedom to make messes, make sounds and express themselves in a supportive, sensory-friendly environment.
a Healing Environment
Creative Center provides expressive art therapy in Sierra Madre, CA and creativity programming for children, adolescents, and adults. We offer individual and group sessions, open studio hours, workshops, private events and public speaking engagements. At Creative Center, our goal is to build a community for individuals by offering a space, materials, and meaningful programs to nurture and cultivate creativity, insight, and artistic skills in a relaxing and supportive atmosphere. We believe that creativity and art therapy promote growth, transformation, relaxation, entertainment, and healing. Our mission is to provide a nurturing, safe and encouraging community atmosphere for individuals to explore, express and heal themselves through the creative process.

For adults, teens and children the Creative Center Studio becomes a safe space of co-healing for creative self-expression, practicing mindfulness-based coping skills, exploring sound and voice or learning gentle movement. Formal art or music abilities are NOT required to benefit from Creative Arts Therapy: if you can talk, you can sing and if you can move you can dance, make art and make music!
The studio is stocked with all kinds of art materials including paints, markers, colored pencils, decorative papers, trinkets, beads, fibers, and more. All materials are provided, however if there is a material that you don't see and are interested in exploring, please let us know! We also have a variety of instruments available for sound sessions.
